My Post Pregnancy / Pre-Workout Body

So as I said in the previous post, I am making an effort to drop my baby weight and get in shape and I wanted to  start out with a few pictures of me now to show my current shape. Then I will be taking new pics every 2 weeks for 3 months which thru-out I will be exercising at least 3 days a week for 1 hour each day. My routine will more than likely vary over the next 3 months so I'll keep you posted on what I do and how as we go along.

Videos I'm Using to Help Lose Baby Weight

Have you had a baby recently?.. Want to know how to target the new "problem areas" you've gained from the pregnancy?.. Well I did and these are some videos I found to be helpful. I am extremely determined to lose my baby weight and get my sexy back!! I just have to stick with and gain a passion or a urge to workout. Right now, im not a big exercise person.. And even when I plan on working out.. it usually does not happen. BUT, I vow to stick with it this time and these are videos I plan to use to take me there..

Al-tho dont get me wrong.. I dont plan on getting skinny.. I still want thick legs and big butt.. I just want a nice, tight, small stomach to go with it. This is also why these videos are mainly ab workouts. Maybe I will take a pic of me now and then take a new picture every 2 weeks for 3 months and see what my results are..

Shoot.. Maybe I can come up with my own "thick girl" workout plan and get rich off of it down the line???
Hmmm.. Losing weight to get my sexy back and building my own workout brand to market afterwards at the same time.. Sounds like a win/win to me!!

I will post any new videos or workout information relevant to this workout "challenge" i'm giving myself as I come across them in new/separate posts. I assume this will be an ongoing journey and I look forward to it.

Crayola & Lego Demo Event @ Meijers

This weekend I had to work a crayola & lego event at Meijers. For those who dont know, Meijers is a grocery/retail store in the area where I live kinda like a Wal-Mart (if you've heard of it). Anyway, I just started this new business doing in-store demos (along with other things like merchandising and mystery shopping) and this was my 1st event.

The products I had to promote were "My First Crayola" crayons and "Read & Build" Duplo Lego/Book Combo. Now I am a big kid at heart and I still love to color to this day!! So you know I had try out the crayons for myself!! :)

The crayons were washable, triangle-shaped crayons made specially for a toddler's small hands. Washable to ensure parents cleanable walls for the times when their kids are sure to make a canvas of their bedroom wall and triangle-shaped to help promote a proper writing grip. I personally think these crayons are awesome and I will definitely be getting some for my toddler this xmas!!

The "Read & Build" Duplo Lego/Book Combo was also kind of a neat product for toddlers. It is a short story book that comes along with a pack of jumbo-sized legos. It is for ages 1 1/2 - 4 years old so the duplo legos are bigger than regular legos to keep the child from swallowing or choking on them. The book is about a growing catepillar and each page shows the child what piece they need to start building the catepillar (and friends). I loved it!!

Make sure you check out these products for your kids or grandchildren, they are great buy!! 

Fill Out Online "Surveys" and Get Paid or Get Harassed?!!

Soooo.. Someone.. Please.. Tell me..

Whats with these so called online "surveys"?!! I only fill them out and take my precious time to answer them to earn money and after taking a 10-15 minute "survey" and having earned very little (anywhere from 20 cents to a $1 on average) all I really get is harassing calls from schools, insurance companies and the ever so-beloved "congratulations, u have won a trip/gift card/sweepstakes/blah/blah/blah" telemarketing type of calls. Whats the deal?..

I say I should be able to earn more than $0.20-1.00 per 10+ minute survey and NOT have to be bombarded with such a hassle. Speaking of this, why have I yet to come across any real surveys anyway?!! It seems like these "surveys" are really just forms to give out our contact info to these telemarketers. Btw, I have yet to ever make enough money on ANY of these paid survey/opinion sites to even request a check. Not to mention that some of these sites don't even tell you what the minimum amount is that you need to earn before you can request your money. After earning anywhere from $8-$16 in my various accounts (which took quite a bit of time and surveying to get to) I'd get so annoyed from all the calls that started rolling in that I would just say fuck it and stop trying to earn enough to make a withdrawal.

So can someone please tell me WTF is up with this?!! Does anyone else share my frustration?.. Is there even a legit REAL SURVEY PANEL out there?!! I just want to test products and give my valuable opinion as a consumer to real companies looking for insight and not third party type companies looking for leads!! Not to mention I just want to be earnestly paid for my time and effort in doing so!!

Is that too much to ask for?.. I mean shit - that is how they advertised it!! But instead of a legit work-from-home job I'm starting to think its just an elaborate marketing scam. What do you think?.. Id love to know!!

Well hello there readers!! Welcome to my new blog and "sounding board". I am a 28 year old mother of 2 kids under 2, a poet, a business minded opportunity seeker and somewhat of a conspiracy theorists. I am sort of known in my circles for being strong minded, opinionated, honest, open and blunt. I am not, nor have I ever been scared to speak my mind and speak my truth!!

The topics I will write about are essentially endless. Its all about whatever moves me and whatever I may feel needs to be expressed at the moment and time I am compelled to write.
